Konark group came into being in the late seventies under the visionary management of Mr. Prakash Dalmia, who initially forayed into the textile business by manufacturing and marketing suiting fabric and later diversified into manufacturing specialty yarns.

Fuelled by the success and achievements in the Textile sector, the Group gained the impetus to diversify and expand its business interests. Currently in its third decade, the Group has successfully charted its own course in diverse areas in the field of Real Estate development by means of joint ventures with leaders in the real estate business.
